Who is the Education Minister of Karnataka?
The Education Minister of Karnataka is the head of the state’s school education department. The minister is responsible for ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education. He works closely with the chief minister and other members of the cabinet to formulate policies for the state’s schools.
He has also made it clear that he does not support the overturning of hijab ban in state-run schools. He has also promised to revisit textbook changes that were made by the previous BJP government.

During 2002-2009, Nagesh Kumar was the Director-General of Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) in New Delhi, a public-funded policy think-tank, where he led its research programme on globalization, FDI, technology transfers and regional integration.
